Activity: A session led by Global Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health and Members of the Global Brain Health Institute providing updates on the state of evidence relating to sleep function and brain health, to facilitate discussion and development of research and practical solutions. Sleep dysfunction is associated with a multitude of undesirable health outcomes, including brain health outcomes. At this time, sleep function is not consistently assessed or considered within the dominant conceptualization of functioning and health. The overarching aim of this session is to encourage leaders in health generally and those working in brain health in particular, to turn their minds to this issue and consider its implications for their line of work.
