Short Bio: Dr. Najafi received her degrees in occupational medicine and sleep medicine from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. She is currently a faculty member of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, managing director of the Journal of Sleep Sciences, and mentored by Dr. Allan Pack from the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests include epidemiological characteristics and diagnostic and treatment methods of sleep apnea among specific populations and communities. She also loves international collaborations and efforts for the globalization of sleep health and medicine.

Activity: Dr. Najafi organized a multidisciplinary meeting on behalf of the Iranian Sleep Medicine Society for world sleep day. The name of the event was “Sleep Health” and “Community Health”. In contribution to Dr. Atefeh Behkar, our research assistant at the occupational sleep research center, an informative advertisement was designed indicating the relationship between sleep health and multiple fields of health and medicine.
