(Key Message 3) and support environmental disparity with sleep kit (eye pads, ear plugs, blankets) to improve sleep health via several platforms (workshop, Facebook, Instagram, twitter, TikTok, YouTube, line) with people from all ages.

We distribute knowledge about sleep, Sleep is a critical pillar of health and poor sleep health can have multiple significant impacts. Moreover, Sleep health is multidimensional more than enough hour of sleep. Organizing “healthy sleep” into distinct aspects offers sleep health advocates more focused messaging that promotes healthy sleep behaviors.
We promote sleep health awareness and education across the world. Reaching out to people as much as possible, We held the activities in multilevel including international activity, national activity, hospital based activity and community based activity.
(Key Message 1: Sleep is essential to health and Key Message 2: Sleep health is multidimensional)

1.International activity
We collaborate with World Sleep Academy alumni and record the World Sleep Day 2024 clip in several languages from the alumni all over the world to raise awareness of the important of sleep health.

Let’s Be Heroes Foundation collaborated with Central Chest Institute of Thailand arranged World Sleep Day 2024 activity in the topics of “Basic knowledge of sleep, sleep disorders and good sleep hygiene,” “How do sleep late and sleep insufficiency affect children’s health?” “How does insomnia affect mental health?” and “Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) evaluation and surgery treatment.” There was also a session between sleep patients with sleep problem and sleep experts. Anyone could participate in this activity and there were prizes for the participants who can answer the World Sleep Day 2024 slogan in Thai correctly.

4.Community based activity
We collaborated with private clinic (Morning mind counselling clinic and Pichayanin clinic) held activities on World Sleep Day.
We promoted World Sleep Day and educated patients and people in the community about sleep health. We also provided sleep tool kit (eye pads, ear plugs, blankets) to decrease environmental disparities.
Moreover, we distributed the “Sleep first aid tool kit” via line official account with the FAQ about sleep health, sleep hygiene, sleep problem and initial management. Lastly, We start to translate and validate RU-SATED questionnaire in to Thai language(Key Message 2: Sleep health is multidimensional) because healthy sleep means more than enough sleep. There are six dimensions (Duration, Efficiency, Timing, Regularity, Alertness and Quality)that affect sleep health and consequently overall health and wellbeing. If we have the Thai RU SATED questionnaire, Thai patients with sleep disorder will receive the sleep health evaluation covered all of these dimensions leading to physical and mental well-being.
To encourage World Sleep Society dedication to Advancing Sleep Health Worldwide. We use the World Sleep Day 2024 events to promote sleep health awareness and education. We also translate RU SATED questionnaire as a tool to collect and centralize standard sleep data for the possibility to improve sleep health and public health in Thailand.
