Delegate: Simon Kuo

Affiliation: PranaQ

Short Bio: PranaQ is an international medical technology startup focusing on respiratory and sleep health. Our goal is to empower individuals with knowledge of their health conditions, offering control over medical treatments, and enhancing their quality of life.

We aim to make the process of achieving better sleep as seamless as possible with professional grade accuracy, all the while empowering patients to gain control of their medical treatments and build knowledge of their health conditions.

TipTraQ, PranaQ’s flagship product, is a fingertip wearable that enables home sleep apnea screening and the long-term monitoring of common sleep disorders with clinically validated AI algorithms.

Activity: It’s well-known that a large majority of people suffering from sleep apnea are undiagnosed and unaware that their fatigue and symptoms are in any way out of the ordinary. We therefore consider it critical both to bring awareness to the common symptoms of sleep apnea, and to facilitate the screening and diagnosis process to empower people to have a better understanding of their sleep health, or even to seek appropriate treatment.

Between March 12-15, PranaQ offered free one-night home sleep apnea screenings. Participants were given a TipTraQ device to use overnight. The following morning, participants received a sleep report outlining their sleep metrics.

A physician consultation was scheduled for participants with a higher risk of sleep apnea.

Location: The activity took place at PranaQ’s Taiwan office: 97 Songren Rd, Xinyi District, Taipei.

Date of Activity: March 12-15
