Short Bio: I am Shumaila Javaid designated as a Pulmonologist in Peshawar, Pakistan yet a student of Sleep Medicine at World Sleep Academy. Committed to life long learning, I aim to soar higher and propel forward everyday.
Activity: This year the Sleep day was themed on Sleep Equity for global health.
Our activities began with an opportunity to speak on a radio show in our local language Pashto for awareness of masses regarding the Sleep disorders. It reached a wider audience and we were honored to interact with public through live calls and answer their queries. Our team assembled a dynamic information wall showcasing key facts and resources. We proudly participated in a session for awareness of local public about sleep hygiene and sleep equity. All the activities revolved around the concept of healthy sleep, health life and all in all our global health.
