Short Bio: I am working as a sleep technologist since September 2016 until now in a institute – BhaktiVedanta Hospital and Research Institute, Mumbai, India.
I am also working in Pharma industry since 2015.
By education i have done my Bachelors degree in Biotechnology, Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research, Masters in Bioinformatics and Certified Sleep Technologist from IISS and Indian Society of Sleep Research.
Activity: We organized a ‘Sleep Health Talk’ for our patients & their relatives in our hospital auditorium.
Close to 100+ attendees availed the opportunity to listen to our conversation.
We discussed different aspects of sleep health, the need for good, refreshing sleep, effects of sleep deprivation and sleep hygiene during our dialogue.
We also touched upon types of common sleep disorders and pointers to recognize them to seek professional help.
It was a good 30 minute session. We conversed in English & Hindi (the 2 most commonly spoken languages in Mumbai), making it easier for attendees to understand.
We have recorded this session and it will be posted as a podcast on our hospital’s official YouTube channel in the patient education section.
