Short Bio: We are a research group that has completed 10 years of study, research, and dissemination of the topics of chronobiology, sleep and sleep medicine. We are part of the medical course at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, located in the county of a state in the northeast of Brazil. We are increasingly expanding our partnerships with other research laboratories. We are interested in topics involving the relationship between diabetes and biological rhythms, sleep in the student population, sleep in rural areas, obstructive sleep apnea and the relationship between sleep and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Activity: This year we will repeat the success of the previous year. We will give interviews on two local FM radio stations, which cover a wide rural, and urban region, reaching various niches of society. In this, we will be available to answer questions from the public about sleep, and its benefits and disorders, as well.
