Students and faculty of Anesthesia Technology Department of College of Health Sciences, Gulf Medical University, conducted a two-day community awareness program on World Sleep Day on 17 and 18 th March 2022 on the occasion of World Sleep Day at Thumbay University Hospital.
The program was an eye opening for the people to realize the sleep related adversities to the health of a person. Around 200 patients approached the volunteers to share their experience and anxiety related to sleep disorders.
The essential need for drastic lifestyle changes, exercises, diet control and stress-free environment is well understood from the feedback of the public who visited our pavilion.
