Activity: To raise awareness about the importance of sleep for physical and mental health the Laboratory of Sleep and Sleep Disorders at Albany Medical College has initiated a meeting to celebrate World Sleep Day that included seminar followed by discussion and Q&A between faculty and trainees highlighting the importance of sleep, recent advances in understanding of the mechanisms of sleep disorders, and critical need of effective therapeutic approaches for treatment of abnormal sleep conditions. World Sleep Day was included in a Messenger Notice of Albany Med Health System on March 15, 2024.
