Running sleep Lab and sleep clinic in the capacity of In-Charge sleep lab and sleep clinic at government university (UPUMS, Saifai, Etawah, UP, INDIA)
Approximately 250 sleep studies have been done at our university.
We are doing all procedures (Diagnostic PSG, titration PSG, MSLT, Split Night sleep studies, MWT, MSIT) in the sleep lab at present.
Along with this many research projects are going-on in collaboration of various departments (Neurology, Respiratory medicine, Psychiatry, Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology)
I have been an adjunct faculty for 6 months Pediatric Sleep Scoring Course organized by NUS.
I have delivered many talks/seminars/lectures in various sleep medicine conferences.
Frequently organize workshops, conferences, CMEs, Value added courses in sleep medicine at UPUMS, SAIFAI, UP, INDIA
23 research papers in various national and international journals have been published.
I have 13 years of teaching experience in the field of physiology.
Activity: I provide patient care for sleep related disorders in sleep clinic,
doing regular polysomnography of patients, community awareness programs related to importance of sleep-in nearby villages, teaching and training of undergraduate and post graduate students in the physiology department and involved in various socio-cultural events in the university. I also impart value added course in sleep medicine for faculties, undergraduate students, postgraduate students, medical officers, nursing staff.
I organize CMEs, Workshops for medical students and faculties and Nukkad Natak (based on sleep disorders) for people residing in villages and attending OPDs.
Frequently conduct quiz competitions based on sleep disorders in the university.
Encourage and motivate students to participate in poster presentation on sleep disorders.
