Short Bio: Graduated in Psychology from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). Master in Professional and Technological Education, by the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraná (IFPR). He is an educational and school psychologist at the IFPR, part of an interdisciplinary team responsible, among other things, for the well-being of high school students. He researches sleep and the use of technologies and has written a book on the subject, in co-authorship with Ph.D. Frederico Fonseca da Silva, entitled “Awakening time: about time and technologies (and about sleeping and living better!).”

Activity: Elaboration and free availability of a book entitled: “Awakening time: about time and technologies (and about sleeping and living better!).”
The book was produced from a master’s research on sleep and the use of technologies. It arose from the concern that sleep deprivation associated with technology use may be compromising students’ school performance, health and well-being.
The book is a didactic resource to address the topic with adolescents.

Location: The production of the book is linked to the city of Curitiba, Paraná. The research that supported the production of the book was carried out in the cities of Assis Chateaubriand, Paranaguá and Curitiba, all cities in the state of Paraná, Brazil, and had the participation of students from different locations in that state.
