United Kingdom 2015: Chelsea and Westminster Hospital

WORLD SLEEP DAY EVENT – 13th March 2015- GROUND FLOOR ATRIUM CHELSEA AND WESTMINSTER HOSPITAL

World Sleep Day (WSD) has grown steadily since its inception. The first WSD was held on March 14th 2008, under the slogan ‘Sleep well, live fully awake’.

Staff and students from Sleep Laboratory and Sleep Medicine Department at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital created a stall on the Ground Floor at main Hospital building on the 13th March 2015 to give out important information about sleep disorders diagnose and treatment!  We gave out sleep hygiene tips, advice, we had sleep diagnostic tools to show on models and therapeutic as well, such as Ventilators.

A better understanding of sleep conditions and more research into this area of medicine will help reduce the burden of sleep disorders on society.
