Short Bio: Lexington® Company is a global lifestyle brand represented in more than 20 countries with a wide range of home and apparel products. Founded by Kristina Lindhe, Lexington Company started as an interior design company with the goal of creating an environment that promotes sleep. That’s why the first bedding Lexington Company produced, which was in Pinpoint Oxford, was an innovative contribution to not only the bedding industry, but also the quest of a better sleep. The material, which was previously used in fashion only, helps with regulating the sleeper’s temperature. Nights in pinpoint oxford are never too cold and never too hot.

– March 9: An in-store event in Tampere, Finland, open to the public, was held to promote good sleeping habits. Visitors got to enjoy a breakfast and try soothing teas that promote sleep while discussing the connection between sleep and bedding with sleep specialists.

– March 4 – 17: Multiple articles that inform and help readers understand sleep and improve their sleep were published. Example of articles include a playlist that helps people fall asleep, an article about how sleep affects career and health, and an article about the properties of different bedding materials. – March 4-17: Window signs were put on our stores retail stores promoting World Sleep Day.

– March 11-12: Stockholm’s taste makers were invited to Sparrow Hotel styled in Lexington bedding where they got to unwind with Yoga, eat sleep-promoting food and attend a talk with psychologist and sleep coach, Helena Kubicek, hosted by Kristina Lindhe. The goal was to help these influential people understand the importance of sleep in our lives and the different ways to improve sleep so they can use their platforms to spread the knowledge attained during these two days.

March 15: We had an ad placed in Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet and Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv’s magazine insert D2 Magasinet to highlight the importance of the day and invite readers to participate in our educational in-store activities.

Visitors got to feel and test drive bedding to find one that matches their body temperature, they got to try soothing teas that promote sleep and discuss the connection between sleep and bedding with sleep specialists.
