Short Bio: Carolina Lombardi is a specialist in neurophysiopathology, Medical Senior Researcher Dept of Medicine and Surgery, University of Milano-Bicocca, Head of the Sleep Disorders Centre at San Luca Hospital–Istituto Auxologico Italiano, Milan, Italy, and member of several national and international working group and writing committees. She earned her MD from the University of Siena, Italy, and her PhD in sleep medicine from the University of Bologna, Italy. Dr Lombardi’s research interests include sleep disorders, sleep-related breathing disorders and cardiovascular diseases, high altitude, electroencephalography and diagnostics of epilepsy, autonomic nervous system disorders, and movement disorders during sleep.
