Australia 2017: Wesley Hospital Sleep Disorders Centre

Delegate: The Wesley Hospital Sleep Disorders Centre

Affiliations: ASA & NATA, Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program

Activity:
Here at TSGQ we have decided to spread the World Sleep Day message. We have taken this World Sleep Day theme and shared it with our online friends, our scientists have all written World Sleep Day blogs for our website. We even shared this with our friends in the world of Facebook and our physician friends via our monthly newsletter.

While the virtual world is important, we thought the message should be spread in person. So, we took to the streets, we pounded the pavement, we… well.. we didn’t go far because we didn’t have to! The Wesley Hospital is one of the largest private hospitals in Australia, and we figured our back yard was a great place to start. We set up stalls throughout the hospital, and handed out World Sleep Day information to help our patients here at the Wesley “Sleep Soundly” and “Nurture Life”.
