United Kingdom 2018: Bupa Cromwell Hospital

Delegate: Ana Noia Pereira

Affiliations: Bupa Cromwell Hospital

Short Bio: My name is Ana and I qualified as a Clinical Neurophysiologist in Porto, Portugal back in 2011. During my course, I trained in a number of different areas in Neurophysiology, from Gastroenterology to Sleep – which I became most passionate about. I moved to London to develop my career in Neurophysiology and joined the Bupa Cromwell Hospital in 2015, to dedicate her work to Neurophysiology and Sleep. I’m now undertaking a MSc in Sleep Medicine at Oxford University and hope to raise awareness on how sleep is vital for normal functioning in daily life.

Activity: Here at the Bupa Cromwell Hospital we are hosting a series of talks and lectures on many aspects of sleep. This is aimed at Clinical Physiologists mainly Respiratory and Sleep, Neurophysiology and Cardiology as sleep affects all these different areas. We opened the event to anyone with interest in Sleep such as doctors, nursing staff, health advisors and healthcare professions. This event will run from 9am to 5pm.

Location: Bupa Cromwell Hospital – London United Kingdom

Date of Activity: 16th of March 2018
