Short Bio: Actually a neurologist in Vietnam, I’m in the early stage of building my career as a sleep specialist, particularly in sleep disorders related to neurological diseases. I have completed a 6 months full time training of sleep medicine in a sleep laboratory of Vietnamese Society of Sleep Medicine (VSSM) and have at least 3 years of clinical practice in sleep medicine and sleep education in my country. Recently, I have successfully passed the World Sleep Society (WSS) sleep board examination organized in Thailand in December 2023. I’m also head of the sleep disorders unit in my department in Tam Anh hospital in Ho Chi Minh city. Our hospital is one of the first centers in Vietnam which perform polysomnography for neurological patients with sleep problems.
Activity: I collaborated with my colleague Nguyen Kien Minh to create a poster about sleep equity in Vietnamese language and posted it on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) on World Sleep Day 2024. We also asked our friends to share this poster. We want to raise public awareness about this topic, especially in our country.
