Short Bio: I am a general pediatrician who has been involved in narcolepsy-related projects following the diagnosis of a close family member 15 years ago. In addition to my daily clinical work I teach medical students and pediatric physician trainees, give presentations in local/national/international settings, and currently serve as the Board of the US-based non-profit Narcolepsy Network.
Activity: The development of the website www.Day4NAPs.org, which will serve as a global clearinghouse for narcolepsy awareness projects. I will also be giving a poster presentation on narcolepsy and cataplexy to the American Academy of Pediatrics ‘Celebration of Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep’ conference in Orlando, FL on 15 February 2019.
