United States 2026: Naomi Mittet

Delegate: Naomi Mittet

Delegate Short Bio: Bio:
I am a dedicated advocate for circadian sleep disorders, with a focus on Sighted Non-24-Hour Sleep-Wake Disorder and its impact on individuals and families. As the parent of an autistic adult child who has lived with Non-24 since toddlerhood, I bring both personal experience and a passion for raising awareness about this often-overlooked disorder. I am also someone who lives with Delayed Sleep-Wake Phase Disorder (DSPD).

My Blogger page, ‘Totally Circadian,’ will be available year-round to share interviews, personal stories, and artwork from the Non-24 community, with a special focus on World Sleep Day (This year: March 13, 2026).

Scope of Activity: Individual activity

Activity: This interview offers a unique, anonymous perspective from a neuroscientist with Sighted Non-24, raising awareness for an underrepresented circadian sleep disorder during World Sleep Day 2026.

I’d also like to add that I was interviewed for an article in Seattle Met magazine, which was a goal of mine from a previous World Sleep Day.
