Short Bio: The Sleep Works is a sleep consultancy dedicated to supporting teenagers and adults overcome sleep challenges and improve daytime energy, focus and overall wellbeing.
Founded by Maryanne Taylor, a certified sleep consultant with extensive experience in both child and adult sleep, The Sleep Works offers personalised, evidence-based sleep solutions.
The signature ABC Transform Programme is tailored to each client, focussing on improving sleep quality, reducing daytime fatigue, and optimising focus and productivity.
The Sleep Works also delivers corporate workshops and webinars, offering tailored strategies to improve employee sleep, productivity, and resilience. These sessions are designed to create a supportive workplace culture where employees are motivated and engaged.
Activity: We are focussing on raising awareness about the critical role sleep plays as the foundation of both physical health and mental wellbeing. Specifically, we aim to highlight the ripple effects of sleep deprivation and how these impact daily life—many of which people may not even realise are directly linked to inadequate sleep.
We are running a variety of corporate sessions for organisations looking to address the sleep challenges of their employees. These sessions are tailored to specific needs: some focus on helping individuals struggling with their own sleep, others provide support for parents dealing with children’s sleep issues, and some are designed to help employers create a more supportive and sleep-friendly workplace environment.
We will also be sharing valuable resources and insights on social media, sparking conversations around different aspects of sleep and offering practical tips and strategies that go beyond the standard advice. Our focus will be on shifting the mindset and perception of sleep, helping individuals incorporate sustainable habits into their busy daily lives that promote better sleep and more positive mental health.
We will be speaking on various podcasts (some already pre-recorded) and contributing to multiple media articles (some already submitted) on various aspects relating to sleep, in order to raise awareness even more.
Additionally, we are organising a free webinar specifically aimed at HR professionals and wellbeing leaders across organisations of all sizes. This session will provide them with the knowledge and practical strategies needed to identify employees struggling with sleep issues and offer the right support. Our goal is to help them create and build an open, supportive, and non-judgmental workplace culture, that nurtures, motivates and engages its staff for the long-term success of the organisation.
