Short Bio:
Activity: The first activity aims to present our newly formed pediatric sleep clinic featuring a dedicated pediatric pulmonary and sleep medicine physician, an ENT, a pediatric neurologist and a trained respiratory therapist. The idea is that the patient is seen by a multidisciplinary team of specialists and receive education regarding their condition and plan of care.
The second activity is dedicated to a talk (grand rounds) to our faculty dedicated on sleep disorders. At the end of the session, learners will able to describe basic physiology of sleep and its relation to sleep problems, discuss the evaluation of a child with sleep problems, and recall how to implement behavioral intervention for common sleep problems.
