Delegate Short Bio: Respiratory Care Service in Woodlands Hospital offers comprehensive sleep-related services. Our sleep services ranges from diagnostic services of inpatient and outpatient sectors such as overnight polysomnography, titration services, Multiple Sleep Latency test and split night study, as well as CPAP counselling.
Scope of Activity: Individual activity
Activity: The department of Respiratory Care Service organised a 2-day event in conjunction with World Sleep Day 2026. The 2-day event was hosted by Woodlands Hospital which was targeted for healthcare professionals in Singapore on Day 1, and the general public on Day 2. The series of talks on Sleep Health and Seep Hygiene organised on Day 1 was approved for 6.5 CSTE points by the Board of Respiratory Technologists (BRPT). For the public forum targeted for the community on Day 2, we garnered 331 interested signups for the event- this forum was a day of educational talks by physicians and sleep experts from Woodlands Hospital to raise awareness and educate the public about Sleep Health.
The second day of the event, which was hosted for the community, also included activities and booths that encouraged the public to ask questions to some of our respiratory technologists and clinicians to have a better understanding of the importance of sleep in overall health longevity and common problems such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
