My work focuses on the biological foundations of sleep and its impact on neurological development, autonomic regulation, emotional balance, and growth processes in early life. I am committed to helping families move beyond myths and toward science-informed sleep health education.
As the World Sleep Day 2026 Delegate for Romania, my goal is to increase public awareness of sleep as a fundamental pillar of child health through multidisciplinary collaboration and educational initiatives for parents, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

Activity Description
As the official World Sleep Day Delegate for Romania, I am organising a multidisciplinary educational webinar dedicated to raising awareness about the biological foundations of infant and early childhood sleep.
The webinar, titled “Child Sleep: A Fundamental Pillar of Neurological, Hormonal and Emotional Development,” will bring together healthcare and mental health professionals to provide evidence-based information on the role of sleep in early development.
The event will explore:
The neurobiology of sleep in infancy and early childhood
The role of deep sleep in growth hormone secretion
Circadian rhythm development
The relationship between sleep, autonomic regulation, and emotional balance
The impact of nutrition and respiratory health on sleep quality
Parental stress and co-regulation dynamics
Invited speakers include:
A clinical psychotherapist
A systemic integrative therapist specializing in autonomic regulation
A family medicine physician
A registered dietitian specializing in pediatric microbiome health
A physiotherapist with expertise in neuromotor development
A pediatric sleep specialist (event coordinator)
The webinar is free of charge and aims to increase public awareness of sleep as a foundational pillar of child health. The activity is educational in nature and aligns with the mission of World Sleep Day to promote sleep health globally.
