New Zealand 2017: University of Otago

Delegate: Rebecca Harding

Affiliations: Women’s and Children’s Health Department, University of Otago

Activity: A colleague Harriet Harrex and myself put on a World Sleep Day celebration breakfast for our Department at University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. The invitation was sent out to our Department of Women’s and Children’s Health, and our associated colleagues of the Southern District Health Board in paediatric outpatients staff. We invited people to come along in their Pajama’s, share in some breakfast, and do a sleep quiz we had developed for a bit of fun. This quiz had the intention of educating people about the importance of sleep, and providing information about sleep. It was a great morning bringing people together to celebrate Sleep!
