Activity: This year, the Moroccan Society of Sleep and Wakefulness (MSSW)has undertaken several actions to raise awareness among the public of the importance of sleep.
– In Casablanca, Dr. Kadiri, President of the MSSW was a guest of 2 local radio channels to talk about sleep disorders. She also led workshops in 2 schools to raise awareness among adolescents of the importance of good quality sleep and the harms of using screens on sleep.
With Ramadan being a time when many people have sleep disturbances, Dr. Kadiri also answered a channel’s questions about the impact of sleep debt during the month of Ramadan on activity, concentration, and mental health.
– Pr Elkhattabi, the vice president of MSSW was the guest on the TV news of the second national channel

– In Fez, Pr Elbiaze (a member of the MSSW), and his team including sleep specialists and nutritionists organized a workshop on the theme of obesity and sleep disorders.
Pr ElBiaze was also a guest on a live television report during the television news of the first Moroccan national channel on the occasion of World Sleep Day.
– In Rabat, the Neurophysiology department of Mohammed V Teaching Military hospital received RTM, the first National channel for a television report on insomnia and OSA, with Pr Satte and Pr Errami. The TV report was broadcast on the french and Arabic TV news.
