Delegate Short Bio: I’m a sleep technician with more than 8 years of experience in studying sleep.
Scope of Activity: Individual activity
Activity: In Palermo, (Sicily, Italy), on March 17th, I organized another course with the company I work for to again raise awareness about sleep disorders, particularly obstructive sleep apnea. As the other course previuolsly organised in Jesi, the event also aimed to teach people how to recognize a patient who might suffer from OSAS, how to diagnose it, and what the main treatments are.
Our clients are primarily pharmacists in Italy who can offer sleep monitoring services to patients directly in their pharmacies. The recording is reviewed and reported by a pulmonologist.
The course was organised in collaboration with Agifar Palermo (Young Pharmacists Association of Palermo). A big thanks to the association and to my colleagues for this opportunity.
