Short Bio: ASSIREM /www.assirem.it, facebook: assirem) is a non-profit multidisciplinary association that involves not only medical doctors, either performing clinical or research activity, but also biologists, nurses, pychologists, therapist as well as writers, lawyers, journalists, lay association representative and any others who are interested in promoting adequate education and research in the field of sleep. ASSIREM involves for its purposes also public as well as private institutions. ASSIREM is an affiliated member of AIMS (Associazione Italiana per la Medicina del Sonno – Italian Association for Sleep Medicine, www.sonnomed.it). ASSIREM memebership is open to whoever is interested in pursuing the scope of the association.
