Activity: The staff from the Respiratory lab held a sleep awareness day outside the canteen to mark world sleep day 2019. we had an information stand where parents and staff could help themselves to hand-outs on a variety of topics such as the 10 commandments of sleep hygiene for adults and children and signs and symptoms of OSA. The equipment we use to test patients was available for demonstration and we were able to talk staff and parents through the process of having a sleep study, show them what we are looking for and why sleep is so important. We also had a quiz for staff which proved to be very popular
