Short bio: After going through medical school at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, I was accepted in the anesthesiology residency program of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. I became a board-certified anesthesiologist and joined the sleep program at the University of Chicago as a post doc sleep medicine fellow in 2014-2015. Then, I did a six-month neuro-anesthesia fellowship at UCSF. At the same time, after going through USMLE exams, I was matched in the anesthesiology program of Georgia Regent University in 2017. Two years later I was accepted by World Sleep Society to join University of Sydney as a part of International Sleep Research and Training Program (ISRTP) in 2019-2020. Currently, I work as an anesthesiologist-sleep specialist and run three sleep clinics in Tehran.
Activity: Two radio interviews,
–one with Radio Salamat a scientific radio program in Tehran, which was about Sleep and Immune system and the importance of regular sleep, in having a proper immune system to fight against infectious disease and considering the slogan of World Sleep day 2021 “Regular Sleep, Healthy Future”.
— The other with Radio Sepehr Danesh a night time radio program for health care workers and it was about the physiology of sleep, what sleep does to our body and talked about the World Sleep Day and it’s slogan “Regular Sleep, Healthy Future”.
