Short bio: Dr. Najafi received her degrees in occupational medicine and sleep medicine from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. She is currently a faculty member of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, managing director of the Journal of Sleep Sciences and mentored by Dr. Allan Pack from the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests include epidemiological characteristics, and diagnostic and treatment methods of sleep apnea among specific populations and communities. She also loves international collaborations and efforts for globalization of sleep medicine practice.

Activities: Dr. Najafi organized a children’s art celebration, did radio and media interviews, and created a “10 Tips for Healthy Sleep” video shared on social media
