She is the Director of the Neurology Sleep Centre, New Delhi, and currently serves as the Vice President of the Indian Society for Sleep Research.
A visionary leader in her field, Dr. Bhatia is the Founder of the Sleep Medicine Institute and Co-founder of the Ace School of Sleep Medicine, where she actively contributes to training physicians and paramedics in this evolving specialty. She is also the author of “The Sleep Solution,” India’s first non-fiction book dedicated to sleep health, aimed at raising awareness among the general public.
Dr. Bhatia has played a key role in shaping national healthcare practices, contributing to the development of Indian guidelines on Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and Insomnia. Her academic pursuits include completing the prestigious Ambassadors Program and a Master’s Program at the Indian School of Business (ISB) under the 10,000 Women Entrepreneurs initiative.

Activity: Patient Forum: “Sleep Well Live Better”
To mark World Sleep Day, we hosted a Patient Forum on March 8, 2026, at the India International Centre, New Delhi, focusing on the link between sleep and memory and weight.
The discussions focused on the impact of sleep apnea and weight gain, featuring insights from distinguished experts:
•Dr. Manvir Bhatia, Senior Neurologist & Sleep Specialist, explained that when we sleep our brain is active, REM Sleep, Effects of Alcohol in Memory, she also stressed on impact of poor sleep on our memory she also emphasized that when sleep is decreased it effects the two hormones Grelin and Leptin, she also discussed Sleep apnoea in women with premenopause and perimenopause, and hence one should get evaluated.
•Dr. Natsaha Khullar, Clinical Neuropsychologist, focuses on Forgetfulness, aging, and how to put the mind at rest.
•Dr. Dhiraj Bhatia, Senior Consultant in Cardiology, discussed key contributors to weight gain, symptoms of prediabetic, pcos and sleep apnoea in women.
•Nutrition Consultant, Dt. Tarmeen from VLCC Health Care Ltd shared childhood obesity, Insulin Resistance, Anti-Inflammatory diets, and fatty liver. She suggested Berries like Amla, Rasberries are very good. She also mentioned on keytone diets.

The event also featured a Zumba Session, where participants did basic Zumba exercises to support better sleep and overall wellness.
