Dr. Sourav Das, Dr. Uttam Agarwal and team conducted the following activities:

Doctor’s awareness program at Peerless Inn, where we aimed to spread awareness and education about various sleep disorders and importance of a proper evaluation of sleep in routine clinical practice.
Patient awareness program at our clinics, where we aimed to spread general awareness about sleep and its disorders, benefits of a healthy sleep, principles of sleep hygiene etc. Also, questionnaires like Insomnia Severity Index and Berlin Questionnaire were filled by the patients, from where we are planning to generate some epidemiological data.
Media awareness program was conducted via a press meet, at press club Kolkata, where numerous prominent local, regional and National newspapers, magazines, television and Youtube channels participated. We aimed to generate awareness about the importance of sleep, its role in healthy ageing and prevention of diseases, when and how to seek help in case of problem in sleeping, the technology and currently available treatment modalities etc. Also, a radio campaign was organised for the same.
