Short Bio: The Hong Kong Association of Dental Sleep Medicine, founded in 2024, is committed to the following missions:
To provide an academic platform and promote education in the screening, diagnosis, and multidisciplinary treatment modalities of sleep disorders.
To increase awareness among dental professionals of the global public health problem of sleep disorders.
To raise public awareness concerning the sleep disorders and sleep deprivation.
To connect between professional organizations and educational institutions to expand the field of sleep.
Activity: The Inaugural Meeting of the Hong Kong Association of Dental Sleep Medicine was held on Saturday March 1st, 2025 . We are a newly established association organized by a group of dental surgeons in Hong Kong who are devoted to promoting dental sleep medicine locally and regionally. This landmark event took place at Cordis Hotel Hong Kong.
The theme of our meeting is “Empowering the Future of Sleep Medicine through Multidisciplinary Collaboration.” This event serve as a platform to discuss the latest advancements in sleep medicine, share valuable insights, and foster collaborations among experts in the field. During our inaugural event, we emphasized on the collaboration between different medical and dental disciplines to work together to promote and raise awareness on sleep and airway health and we celebrated World Sleep Day 2025 during our pioneering event in Hong Kong.
