Activity:
Hub1Hub Sleep Week 2021
As a team of social workers from mental health service, a series of program during Sleep Week are launched aiming at promoting and educating the public (esp. youth and adolescence) proper sleep hygiene (pre-bedtime activities, appropriate relaxation exercises to facilitate better sleep quality, etc.) and maintaining psychological well-being of an individual. We also work with various sleep plans with our centre youth members, whom have emotional disruption and sleep disturbance.
The events include:
- Leisure activities, aiming to educate our targeted participants better knowledge about proper sleep hygiene – namely pillow fights day, pyjamas party.
- Cooking activities which allow our participants to make snacks/ drinks foster better sleep quality
- Sleep Lab Experiment – youth with or w/o sleep disturbance can visit to our sleep lab and
enjoy their own tailor-made sleeping/ napping journey and learn how to raise sleep quality and
develop a regular sleep. We would also analyse and evaluate their experience together to make
sure they can transfer their good sleep experiences to homelife.
