tonoimagr (ΤΟ ΝΟΗΜΑ) is a grassroots volunteer initiative based in Thessaloniki, dedicated to promoting experiential volunteerism across diverse communities and age groups. As a newly established initiative, it aims to bring together people from all walks of life to collectively explore and create meaning through action, connection, and shared experiences. One or two Saturdays each month, tonoimagr issues an open call to action, inviting volunteers to come together in support of a different organization or social cause in need. Alongside gathering essential goods and offering tangible support, participants engage in role-playing and a variety of experiential activities. These are guided by volunteer psychologists, other professionals, and current university students, creating a dynamic space for reflection, learning, and personal growth. What makes tonoimagr unique is that no two events are the same. Each action is thoughtfully designed to offer a new experience, making every gathering an opportunity to rediscover purpose and “unravel the meaning” behind each cause and activity.

Why this initiative:
The initiative was designed to raise public awareness about the vital role of healthy sleep in overall well-being while introducing the people of Thessaloniki to the Sleep Disorders Laboratory of the Respiratory Failure Unit at G.
