Activity:
1. First activity was a morning session on March 13, 2026 to all staff of the University of Ghana Medical Center. It was titled Sleep Health and addressed the importance of sleep for overall health. There was a devoted segment on OSA.
This was about a 1.5 hour session which was chaired by the hospital’s CEO. It was followed by a group photograph.

2. The second activity of the day was a 2-hour webinar, organized jointly by the hospital and the Ghana Medical Association, the established national medical association. This was well attended with active attendees’ participation during the Q & A at the end. The session provided an outline of sleep disorders, using the ICSD III classification as the basis for the presentation. The second hour addressed what an appropriated sleep disorder workup consists of. There was a request for more such sessions in the future.
Participant number at the peak was 534.

3. National live radio “breakfast show” on March 19, 2026. Ghana Broadcasting Corporation radio. Addressed importance of sleep for health, and fielded questions from listeners.
