Delegate Short Bio: Psychotherapist & clinical psychologist working in my own practice in Bavaria’s countryside. As a CBT- and traumatherapist, my my clinical focus is on PTSD including nightmares, nightmare therapy and other parasomnias. My resarch interests are parasomnias and parasomnia therapy, lucid dreaming therapy and trauma-associated sleep disorder(s).
Scope of Activity: Individual activity
Activity: Wearing my pyjama, did a long video interview with the local newspaper about benefits of good sleep, health risks of too little and poor sleep, most common sleep disorders and tips for better sleep. An additional emphasis was on political needs to improve societies’ sleep and the importance of Pyjama Day, Sleep Awareness Month and World Sleep Day for more public visability of the importance of sleep and to promote sleep health. The interview will be published on World Sleep Day.
