Delegate Short Bio: Internal Medicine Physician, ISSS and UEES. Trained in Sleep Medicine at the Sleep Disorders Unit with Professor I. Arnulf, Paris, France.
Since 2015, Coordinator of the Sleep Clinic and Laboratory at the ISSS (Salvadoran Social Security Institute).
As a Doctor, activist, researcher, and advocate for healthy sleep in El Salvador, her target is the importance of sleep medicine and the fundamental role of sleep in health. She is committed to work towards substantial changes in public health promotion in El Salvador, organized and presenting at national conferences, schools, nursing schools, and other venues for the public. She collaborates with prestigious educational institutions that train neurologists, such as the ISSS (Neurology, Psychiatry, Pneumology and Occupational Medicine residents) and Ex Hospital Nacional Rosales, Hospital Nacional Saldaña, Hospital Nacional Zacamil, to provide them with an introduction to the fundamentals of sleep medicine. She recognizes their crucial role in providing comprehensive sleep medicine care in El Salvador, starting from initial consultations.

3. Presentation of Research Projects by Psychiatry Residents Rotating in Sleep Medicine at ISSS
4. Among other things, statistics on CPAP-BPAP patients and efforts to optimize diagnostic and treatment protocols as a multidisciplinary team at ISSS
