Short Bio: The Fundacion Neumologica Colombiana is an non- profit organization dedicated to offer care to patients with respiratory disease. As well as promote health and prevent respiratory disease especially in communities in at risk.
Activity: The activity for World Sleep Day aim to reach adolescents in a public school in Bogota in order to explain the importance of a good sleep, and how to implement sleep hygiene habits in a daily life, we used pedagogical methods where they could ask about the topics. We handle a bookmark, specially designed for this day, which they can use to remember good sleep habits. School teachers participated in the activities as well. The activities include at least 260 participants among secondary school (9°, 10° 11° grades). In this occasion we support our activity in our mobile health care unit called Asmamovil, which is part of our social program.
Along with these activities we promote the day for general public in our official social media such as Facebook and twitter (@neumologica) ith post along the day about good habits and the importance of good sleep, with a good statistics
