Sleep is essential for life: It plays a crucial role in growth and development, tissue repairment, energy conservation, immune function, and learning and memory. She then discussed the six dimensions of sleep health: 1. Ensure an appropriate sleep duration, with around seven hours being optimal for rest. 2. Maintain good sleep efficiency by avoiding the habit of staying in bed for extended periods. 3. Sleep at the right time, avoiding disruptions to your natural sleep-wake cycle. 4. Maintain a regular sleep schedule by sticking to consistent bedtimes and wake-up times. 5. Ensure high-quality sleep with adequate deep sleep. Snoring is a common symptom of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), which can affect sleep depth and quality. 6.
