Delegate: BRIDGE Lab
Delegate Short Bio: Dr. Tatyana Mollayeva leads the BRIDGE Lab, based at the KITE Research Institute at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, University Health Network (UHN) affiliated with the University of Toronto. The lab focuses on understanding brain health throughout the lifespan and exploring the role of equity in the course of neurological disorders and injuries. The goal is to advance person-centered prevention, care, and rehabilitation.
KITE is a world leader in complex rehabilitation research, with more than 125 scientists dedicated to improving the lives of people living with the effects of disability, illness, and aging. KITE is one of the principal research enterprises at the University Health Network (UHN), Canada’s top medical research hospital with more than 6,000 research team members (2025).
Scope of Activity: Campaign of multiple activities
Activity: We will invite the KITE community to participate in a brief (5-7 minute) survey-based reflection on their own sleep, and to identify feasible micro-actions to implement for improving sleep. By starting with ourselves, we emphasize reflective, equitable leadership.
Proposed location: virtual participation initiated by the BRIDGE Lab (www.bridgelab.ca) at KITE, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute University Health Network, Canada.
Timing: Around one week surrounding Sleep Day 2026
Target audience: KITE community across levels and programs.
Goals: Insights will help us reflect on our relationship with sleep, identify feasible micro-actions to support better sleep, and create an internal resource for sharing strategies and experiences across our team. Some insights may also be included in a publicly available booklet on sleep experiences and strategies.
