World Parkinson’s Program is the only organization which provides medications, walking aids, educational literature about Parkinson’s disease in more than 20 languages and other supportive services to those struggling with Parkinson’s disease around the world.These healthcare supplies are the daily needs of every person affected with Parkinson’s disease in any part of the world. Activity: World Parkinson’s Program held World sleep day activities on Friday March 16, 2018 at Ellesmere Healthcare centre and Parkinson’s Clinic of Eastern Toronto, Toronto, Canada. They educated general public and other members of community visiting the Healthcare Centre about importance of good and healthy sleep, as well as sleep disorders related to Parkinson’s disease,Restless Legs Syndrome and other conditions. Educational literature in more than 20 languages was provided to people. This will create awareness of sleep problems among people. Principles of sleep hygiene were also discussed with participants.
