Program Description: This program was inspired by the theme of the 2025 World Sleep Day campaign: “Make Sleep Health a School Health Priority”. The main objective of this action was to discuss sleep as a priority for the mental health of all our students, children and adolescents, involving the school as a sensor and fundamental vehicle for psychoeducational actions on how to obtain healthy sleep. The theme was part of the week of celebration of World Sleep Day: March 14, 2025 and was in line with the meaning of sleep as a priority, an opportunity, as well as a necessity for all sectors of society. Sleep is essential for health, but measurable differences in sleep health persist among populations around the world, creating additional burdens and reinforcing health inequalities. World Sleep Day is an opportunity to promote sleep health together with thousands of other sleep health professionals and advocates. When we all promote health, we generate a combined effort that is greater than the sum of its parts. By promoting students’ sleep health, we can improve learning, quality of life and mental health stimulation.
