Activity: WORLD SLEEP WEEK: MAKE SLEEP HEALTH A PRACTICE PRIORITY
MARCH 11-14, 2025

Sleep is essential for everyone's health, although many people do not understand what good sleep is or, more importantly, how to get it! Data from the National Social Security Institute (INSS) indicate 472,000 absences from work due to mental health. Furthermore, according to ABRAMET – Brazilian Association of Traffic Medicine, 60% of accidents are caused by fatigue and excessive drowsiness. It is indisputable to recognize the impact of sleep disorders on the quality of daily life, both in personal relationships and performance at work or school. Mental health depends on balance in the circadian rhythm (24-hour cycle that regulates wakefulness and sleep functions).

Objective:
The aim of this meeting is to make SLEEP HEALTH A PRIORITY in daily practice, promoting quality of life through the prevention of sleep disorders or related diseases, which are currently highly prevalent.
