Professor responsible for the subject Approach to metabolic syndrome, arterial hypertension and dyslipidemia in the Clinical Nutrition Specialization program at the UCP.
Member of the Ethics Committee of the Association of Nutritionists of the Province of Corrientes (CNC).
She has conducted research and several publications on sleep and its relationship with health, nutrition, and academic performance.

Activity: 1. Oral presentation about the importance of considering sleep habits in nutritional consultation and the relationship between sleep, health and nutrition, aimed at postgraduate students in the region (Specialization in Clinical Nutrition). Friday March 17, 2023.

2. Video aimed at Nutritionists from the province and the country about the importance of considering sleep habits in the nutritional consultation, and diffusion through WhatsApp groups and social networks. Friday March 17, 2023.

3. Brief interview on the city’s radio program about “Sleep and obesity”, aimed at the general population. Friday March 17, 2023.

4. Flyer aimed at patients and the general population on “Sleep and health”, and diffusion through health professionals from the city and the province (nutritionists, doctors, psychologists, etc.) and social networks. From Friday, March 17, 2023 (health professionals will be able to distribute the flyer throughout the year among their new patients).

5. Brochure aimed at parents of children from 1 to 5 years old, about the importance of achieving adequate sleep habits in children and recommendations to achieve it. Diffusion through Kindergartens in the city of Goya. From Friday March 17 to Friday March 31, 2023.

6. Brochure aimed at higher level students (university and non-university) about the importance of maintaining adequate sleep habits to promote academic performance. Diffusion through social networks and WhatsApp groups, of the different UCP headquarters (in the provinces of: Corrientes, Misiones, Formosa and Chaco). From Friday March 17 to Friday March 31, 2023.

7. Workshop “Sleep, health, food and economy: Prevention is better”, aimed at older people who attend the Center for Retirees “Malvinas Argentinas”. Thursday March 30, 2023.

This series of activities had the following objectives:

• To contribute to the objective of the WSD to make the world population aware of the importance of maintaining adequate sleep habits to maintain health, as well as to the UN SDG 3 “Health and well-being”, which aims to guarantee a healthy life and promote the well-being of all people at all ages.

• That the students of the Specialization in Clinical Nutrition and nutrition professionals from the province and the country manage to acquire new intervention strategies and understand the importance of sleep assessment in nutritional clinical practice.

• That the general population, patients and the elderly learn about the relationship between sleep and health and the importance of adequate sleep.

• That the parents of children from 1 to 5 years old manage to identify the importance of adequate sleep in their children and begin to implement adequate habits.

• That higher level students (university and non-university) manage to identify the relationship between sleep, learning and health and the importance of adequate sleep.

• That the students of the Bachelor of Nutrition Degree who participate in the series of activities manage to learn new intervention strategies for their professional practice.

• Contribute to SDG 13 “Climate Action” of the UN, which proposes to adopt urgent measures to combat climate change and its effects, through the dissemination of flyers and brochures by digital media in 80%.

This series of activities was aimed at the following people:

• Graduates in Nutrition from the province of Corrientes and Argentina.
• Patients of health professionals from the province of Corrientes (nutritionists, doctors, psychologists, etc.).
• Parents of children from 1 to 5 years of age in the city of Goya.
• Higher education students (university and non-university) from the city of Goya.
• Higher level students (university) from the Argentine Northeast Region.
• Older people who attend a retirement center in the city of Goya.
• General population of the city of Goya.
