Short Bio: The Argentinean Association of Sleep Medicine (AAMS) was created in 1995 to promote awareness, education and research in relation to sleep and sleep disorders from a multidisciplinary perspective. Many health professionals from different health and university groups are increasingly involved in the Association and several meetings and activities were organized to improve sleep science in Argentina. During these last years, the AAMS and FLASS have been actively working to get the accreditation for the medical competence of Sleep Medicine in Argentina.

Activity: An extensive campaign will be developed by the AAMS during the week of World Sleep Day, March 13th, 2020. Under the slogan: “Better Sleep, Better Life, Better Planet” we will spread our knowledge of sleep medical science all over the country.
The main activities during this campaign will be as follows: 1) A Press Release will be sent to all social media – tv, radio, press and digital media; 2) Several talks about sleep and sleep disorders will be given in local communities and health centers, all over the country; 3) Advertising and promotional material and texts will be distributed in health centers and 4) A National Meeting of AAMS and the FLASS Southern Cone (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay) will be done the next March 13th, 2020 during the World Sleep Day.
