Short Bio:  New Sleep Medicine Provider in Colorado Springs The Breathing Institute would like to introduce Antoinette Burns, DO, MPH to the Colorado Springs area! Dr. Burns, pediatrician and pediatric sleep provider, started practicing at Children’s Hospital Colorado Springs (CHS) and the Briargate clinic in September of 2020. Dr. Burns offers both in person and telehealth visits to care for the sleep health of your child. A graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, East Lansing MI, Dr. Burns completed residency training in pediatrics at Wright State University and Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH and completed a sleep medicine fellowship at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium, San Antonio, TX. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Sleep Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Burns completed her Master’s in Public Health and Maternal Child Health from The George Washington University, Washington, DC. Dr. Burns enjoyed a distinguished career in the United State Air Force, recently retiring from active duty after completing her final assignment at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, thus forging a unique connection to our local military community. Dr. Burns is passionate about providing and enhancing access to high quality pediatric sleep medicine care for children.
