Activity: The AASM will host a World Sleep Day #HealthySleepChat Twitter event and giveaway. The AASM has partnered with Amy Bellgardt to help raise awareness of the importance of healthy sleep, through an interactive one-hour Twitter discussion. Bellgardt will present a series of questions about the role sleep plays in a healthy lifestyle and aging, and Dr. Rosen and the AASM will weigh in with details about the effect of sleep on one’s health, warning signs of common sleep problems, and resources for individuals and families seeking to establish healthy sleep. Individuals are invited to join the online discussion, ask and respond to questions, and share their experiences for the chance to win one of two $100 gift cards – simply for participating! (Only US residents are eligible for the prizes, but anyone with a Twitter account is welcome to join the discussion and Q&A.)

Location: To participate, follow @AASMorg on Twitter, and tweet with the hashtags #HealthySleepChat and #WorldSleepDay during the chat.

Date of Activity: Friday, March 15, 2019, from 2 p.m.-3 p.m. ET
