Institute of Psychiatry, Ain Shams University, in collaboration with Arab Society of Medical Awareness & Egyptian Sleep Association,organized a workshop on 17/3/2017, celebrating the World Sleep Day, including presentations related to “Physiologic functions of sleep”, “Importance of sleep apnea for various physicians”, “Polysomnography in clinical practice” and “Myths & Truths about sleep”.
Attendees included : neuro-psychiatrists, pulmonologists, ENT surgeons, pediatricians, internal medicine specialists, psychologists and house officers.
This was followed by discussion in a TV program in AL-Hayat channel about importance of sleep & its problems, which is an inter-active program receiving calls from shares,answering their questions and inquires.
