Activity: Some meetings among youths in High Schools, Public Institutions and pedestrians to sensibilize the public opinion about sleep disorders.
In the afternoon, will organize an Interactive Workshop among specialists (including medical students, GP, pediatricians, neurologists, psychiatrist, psychologists, etc) to talk about the ways of influence in the sleep disorder problems in community and to create a nucleus for establishing the Albanian Society of Sleep Disorders.
A symposium on Sleep Disorders, held in Tirana, Albania 15th of March 2019. It was organized in cooperation with MIA society, MIA Clinic, and Albanian University. The main topics discussed in this symposium were: Age and gender difference in sleep, how insomnia is assessed and treated, what are the subjective measures of sleep and sleepiness and neurological basis of sleep.
50 participants attended the symposium. Participants came from different backgrounds. Among them were doctors, nurses, psychologists, medical students.
A short video describing the event was transmitted in social media and television.
